KATHLEEN MARIE LAUNDRY, 13, of Groveton, died unexpectedly on December 26, 2020, due to a sudden illness.

Kathleen, aka "Katie" "Kate" or "Kat", was born on February 17, 2007, in Lebanon, NH the daughter of Marshall "Tiger" Laundry III and Kari (Hart) Laundry.

Kate was a member of the 8th-grade class at Groveton Middle School where she was active in basketball, soccer, drama, chorus, band, and the Youth Leadership Team. She was a member of Coos County 4-H serving as the treasurer of the YLT.

Kate loved to write; paint; make crafts; participated in shooting sports, watch videos, sing, dance, play sports, laugh, and spend time with her family and friends. She was quite the jokester and loved pulling pranks and telling jokes. She was very kind and supportive to everyone she knew. Katie was very vocal about everyone having the right to be who they wanted to be and to love who they want to love. She was very proud to be a member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Katie is survived by her parents, her siblings Kailene and Luke Jones; Evan Laundry; Mackenzie Laundry; and Brandon Laundry; her maternal grandparents Richard and Kathleen Hart; her paternal grandparents Marshall Jr. and Laura Laundry; and Wendall and Judith Rock; her two nieces, to whom she was Aunti K, Alyvia and Warryn Jones; her dogs Jackson; Mani; and Taki and many aunts; uncles; cousins and wonderful friends.

She was predeceased by her Auntie Lisa Hart who was very special to her.

At the family's request, there will be no calling hours or services at this time. Graveside service will be held on May 21, 2021, at 1:00 pm in the Northumberland Cemetery, with Fr. Timothy Brooks of the St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lancaster officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
