KENNETH V. WRIGHT , 73, formerly of Groveton and Lancaster, died peacefully on December 14, 2016 at Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin where he had been a resident for the past few years.

He was born on November 9, 1943 in Hardwick, VT to Ernest B. and Catherine M. (Eldred) Wright, he moved to Groveton as a young child and live in the Groveton/Lancaster area most of his life.

Over the years he worked for CB Cummings Birch Mill and as a farmer.  He loved cats; country music and to make people laugh and have a good time.

Ken is survived by his three sons Donald Wright of Colebrook, NH; John Wright of Indiana; and Robert Wright of Elgin, South Carolina; one granddaughter Lacie Smith and two grandsons Dylan Smith and Hunter Gaudette; one brother Stanley Wright of North Stratford; one niece Cathy Wright Roby of Northumberland and several cousins.

He was predeceased by his father in 1982; his mother in 1985; his wife Betty (Potter) Wright in 2012; and half brother Bernard Maynard.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family in the spring. Burial will be in the Northumberland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
