KEVIN RAYMOND "KEV" NEWTON , 55, died on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at his home in Groveton after a courageous battle with cancer.

Kevin was born on February 15, 1965, a son of Raymond R. Newton and the late Carolyn M. (Mosher) Newton and he was a resident of the Northern NH area all of his life.

Before becoming ill, he worked as a carpenter and painter and worked for Bryan Kinsley Painting. He enjoyed playing his guitar; four-wheeling; going mudding; fishing and spending time with his family.

Kevin is survived by his father Raymond "Sonny" Newton and his companion Rosalie Quimby of Groveton, NH/ East Concord, VT; four siblings Wayne Newton and wife Karen of Groveton; Beverly Lamont and husband Kenneth of St. Johnsbury, VT; Patricia Howland and husband Jimmey and Neil Newton and wife Amy all of Groveton; his two children Raymond and Kristen; three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, June 4, 2021, in the Northumberland Cemetery in Groveton, NH. Arrangements are entrusted t the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oncology Department at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital; 1315 Hospital Dr, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
