KRYSTEN "KRYSSY" JEAN HANSEN-MERCHANT, 32, of Pleasant Valley Road in North Stratford died peacefully on June 20, 2015 at her residence from complications of cervical cancer with her loving family by her side. Kryssy was born on October 22, 1982 in Brockton, MA a daughter of Richard and Annamarie (Barclay) Mead and moved to North Stratford when she was five years old. She enjoyed drawing and painting; she loved animals and was always bringing home strays when she was younger. Kryssy was a fun loving person and a great mom. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Before her illness she worked for a short time at Gen-Foot in Littleton as a boot maker. Kryssy is survived by her husband of fourteen years Steve Merchant; her two sons Michael L. Newell, Jr. (13) and Damien A. Merchant (11); her mother and dad Annamarie and Bill Hill all of North Stratford; two sisters Julie Bresette and husband Keith of North Stratford and Candace Hanson and significant other Robert Jameson of Colebrook; three step-siblings William Hill and wife Denise of Groveton; Kim Cline and husband David "BJ" of Illinois and Ed Hill and wife Jestine of Bath, NH; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Kryssy was predeceased by her father Richard Mead. There will be no calling hours or services at this time. A Celebration of Kryssy's life will be held on July 5, 2015 at 56 Pleasant Valley Road in North Stratford from 3:00 until 5:00 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
