LAURA LOU (BOUDLE) MacKENZIE, 57, of North Stratford died suddenly Thursday, May 28, 2009. Born on October 28, 1951 in Lancaster, NH a daughter of Howard Irving and Madeline Muriel (Bourassa) Boudle, she was raised in Jefferson, NH and lived most of her live in Stratford. Laura was a farmer and enjoyed gardening; fishing; four-wheeling; hiking; the farmer's market; playing cards and visiting with friends. She was more comfortable outside than inside and knew more about trees than most foresters. When visiting with Laura you were always reminded "Don't drink out of the Pepsi bottle." Laura is survived by her six children Earl F. MacKenzie of Groveton; Debra L. (MacKenzie) Martin and husband Clint of Graham, Washington; John P. MacKenzie and wife Katrina of Colebrook; Carol A. MacKenzie of Worchester, Massachusetts; Bonnie R. MacKenzie of Colebrook; and Howard I. MacKenzie of Stratford; five grandchildren; eight siblings Irving Boudle of Stark; Ernest Boudle of New York; Robert Boudle of Connecticut; Rodney Boudle of Jefferson; Alfred Boudle of Twin Mountain; Linda Way of Lunenburg, VT; Aubrey Boudle of Stratford; and Lorraine Birge of Twin Mountain along with numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 10:00 am at the Lancaster Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jim Michaels officiating.
