IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Laurie A
Benoit
May 9, 1961 – February 12, 2024
On February 12, Laurie Anne Boudle Benoit returned to the loving embrace of her Heavenly Father.
Laurie leaves behind her mother, Veronica, and her brothers, Greg (Kristin) and Steve (Lisa). Her devoted husband of 44 years, Andre, and her four ridiculously awesome children, Stacy (Patrick), Timothy, Richie, and Michael (Katie), along with 12 beloved grandchildren, will forever cherish her memory.
Born in Vernon, Connecticut on May 9, 1961, Laurie's family eventually settled in Stark, New Hampshire, where she spent the majority of her childhood.
Her life's journey took her to various places, including Florida, Spain, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Vermont. However, she ultimately returned home to New Hampshire for her final years.
During her time in Virginia, Laurie became a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was known as the "mission-mom" in her ward, passionately serving and assisting the missionaries. Her favorite calling was as an early morning seminary teacher, where she lovingly prepared and shared the gospel with the youth. Her unwavering dedication and testimony to her faith left a lasting impact on those she served.
Laurie possessed a green thumb and found immense joy in gardening. Her yard was a testament to her skill as a master gardener, always blooming with beauty.
Not only did she cultivate plants, but she also had a soft spot for animals. Laurie welcomed all creatures, even a family of skunks that wandered into her yard.
Music flowed through Laurie's home, reflecting her exceptional taste. From rock to religious tunes, she instilled a love for music in her children. Holidays were her canvas for creativity—decorating, baking, cooking, and showering loved ones with thoughtful gifts.
While we mourn her absence, we find solace in the knowledge that Laurie is now at peace, surrounded by heavenly melodies, eternal love, and the warm embrace of her recently deceased father, Irving.
