LEROY JON "ROY" WOODWELL, 84, of Stark, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Roy was born on March 31, 1940, in Hempstead, Long Island, New York, he was one of three sons of the late Frank and Estelle (Stainko) Woodwell.
Roy worked as a lineman for Asplundh Tree Service, Kingsbury Manufacturing, and Millipore before retiring.
Roy attended Westbury High School where he was the quarterback of the football team and Hofstra University where studied Horticulture. He played saxophone at numerous churches and private academies around the New York New England areas.
Roy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Martha Lynne Woodwell of Stark; one daughter Wendy Woodwell of Islamorada, FL; two brothers Robert Woodwell of Jensen Beach, FL; and Roger Woodwell of Lake George, New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, in the Emerson Road Cemetery in Stark, NH at 11:00 am with Pastor Joyce Farrell of the Faith Chapel Assembly of God officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
