LILLIAN MARIE (ROY) HART, 77, of Summer Street Groveton, died suddenly at her residence, Saturday, September 5, 2009. Born May 5, 1932 in Groveton a daughter of Ludger J. and Florida R. (Cloutier) Roy, she was a lifelong resident of Groveton. She was a graduate of Groveton High School, class of 1952 and then went on to school and received her Cosmetology License and was a hairdresser most of her life. Lillian enjoyed snow machining; skiing; crocheting; knitting and playing Bingo. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, post #17, Groveton. She is survived by her siblings Omer Roy and wife Irene of Groveton; Lorraine Beroney of Berlin; and Richard "Dickie" Roy of Groveton; a special niece MaryJane Cummings and husband George of Groveton along with many other nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her parents; a brother Edward Roy and a sister Theresa Dube her husband Wendall O. Hart, October 22, 1993. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 11:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the St. Francis Cemetery.
