Linda Jean
Reynolds
December 2, 1959 – May 30, 2026
Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home, LLC
11:00 am - 12:00 pm (Eastern time)
LINDA JEAN REYNOLDS, 66, of Groveton, died peacefully at her home on May 30, 2026, with her loving family by her side, after a valiant four-year battle with cancer
Linda was born on December 2, 1959, in Slokoslavain, Morocco, Africa, the daughter of the late Marie (Holden) and Roger Joyce.
Linda was a proud Army wife who traveled from Texas all the way up the Eastern Seaboard with her family. She loved being a grandmother and lived the “Nerdy Grandma” persona. She played online games with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved and who adored her so much. She was their cheerleader, confidant, and loving friend.
Linda had a love of animals, flowers, and nature. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed laughing with friends and family. She devoted her life to doing whatever she could to make life more enjoyable for others around her. She was a strong woman who did so much even when the world around her said she couldn't. She never complained; she just kept pushing forward. Her contributions will never be forgotten.
Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Calvin Reynolds of Groveton, daughters Chasity Greene and husband Jamie of Groveton, Christine Reynolds of Vermont, grandchildren Katelynn Greene, Trevor Greene, and Kyle Greene all of Groveton, Brittany Greene of Florida, Skye Wheeler of Vermont, and William Wheeler, Jr of South Carolina. Her sister Ann Kelley and many nieces and nephews, as well as her brother-in-laws Brian and Robert, and sister-in-laws Julie and Debie Reynolds, whom she loved as her own blood.
Linda is predeceased in death by, in addition to her parents, her brother Robert Joyce, and her sister Susan Joyce.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Linda's name to the North Country Home Health and Hospice, 536 Cottage Street, Littleton, NH 03561. Without their skill and compassion, not only to Linda, but also to her entire family, she would not have had the opportunity to live out her life pain-free and in peace. Our family sends our deepest thanks and appreciation.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 am, at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home, 100 State St., Groveton, with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor of the St. Marguerite d' Youville parish, officiating.
