LINDA ARLENE (COTE) WILLIAMS , 56, of Second Street, Groveton died peacefully on December 13, 2016 at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster with her loving family by her side.

Linda was born in Groveton, NH on November 9, 1960 to Andrew and Lena (Fountain) Cote and was a lifelong resident of Groveton until moving into Country Village in October of this year.

Linda worked as a house keeper at the Beacon Motel in Lincoln until taking ill.  She loved picnicking, fishing, taking walks, swimming and word search puzzles.  She was very soft spoken; generous and caring.

Linda is survived by her father Andrew "Red" Cote and Janice "Niecie" Hopps of Groveton; daughter Tiffany Williams and husband Christopher Joyce of Groveton; grandson Noe` Joyce; four siblings Susie Johnston and Earl Alexander of Groveton; Brenda Boutin and husband Ken of Groveton; Wayne Cote of Lancaster; Sandra Boudle and Victor of Groveton; one sister-in-law Theresa Cote; aunt and uncle Theresa and Lester Brooks of Clarksville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and her cat Aquillus.

She was predeceased by her mother Lena Cote September 29, 2000 and her husband Fredrick Williams in June 2012.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton with Pastor Richard Boyden of the Christ United Methodist Church, Lancaster, officiating. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in the Northumberland Cemetery.
