LOIS MAE (STINSON) BENNETT, 51, of Spencer Hill Road, Bloomfield died on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Lois was born in Lancaster, NH on March 27, 1962 a daughter Harold B. and Marie F (Eastman) Stinson. She was raised in North Stratford and has been a resident of Bloomfield for thirty years. She received her Associates Degree in Culinary Arts in 2011 and was inducted into the National Honor Society while in college. Prior college she worked for Ethan Allan Furniture Company in Beecher Falls. Lois was currently employed at Colebrook Elementary School as the school chef. Lois was a member of the Stratford Night Hawks Snow machine and ATV Club; she enjoyed cooking; camping; four-wheeling; snow machining; snow shoeing and riding her motorcycle. She always enjoyed Christmas Eve with her family and Santa and spending time with her grandson Kamden. Lois is survived by her husband and companion of twenty-three years Michael "Mike" Bennett of Bloomfield, VT; their five children Michele Bennett and son Keagan of Columbia, NH; Steven Bennett of Columbia, NH; Donald Lesperance of Bloomfield, VT; Jessica Lesperance and Ryker of Belmont, NH; and Megan Fellows and significant other Corey Whitney and son Kamden of Lancaster, NH; four siblings Harold Stinson and wife Chris of Brunswick, VT; Roger Stinson and significant other Barbara Cross of North Stratford, NH; Joyce Gorman and husband Patrick of Canaan, VT; and Harvey Stinson and wife Shannon of Clermont, NH along with numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday May 11, 2014 from 5 - 8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Funeral service will be on Monday May 12, 2014 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Aaron Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Center Cemetery in North Stratford.
