LORRAINE MARIE (GAGNON) BOURASSA , 70, of Rich Street in Groveton died peacefully at Littleton Regional Healthcare on February 29, 2016 after a brief illness.

Lorraine was born in Berlin, NH on May 28, 1945 a daughter of Roger Edward and Alice (Langlois) Gagnon. She grew up in Berlin and moved to Groveton in 1979.  Lorraine worked for many years at the Balsam's Resort in the Canteen.

Lorraine was a member of the St. Marguerite d'Youville Parish in Groveton. She enjoyed word search puzzles; coloring with her granddaughter and "Family Day" every Saturday.  Lorraine spent a lot of time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard Bourassa; their two daughters Lisa Hamilton and husband Drew and Lora Charbonneau and husband Tim all of Groveton; three grandsons Eric Charbonneau; Brendon Charbonneau; Danny Charbonneau; and one granddaughter Drew Hamilton; two great-grandsons Noah Charbonneau and Conner Charbonneau and two sisters Corrine Jolin and husband Joseph and Doris Desantis all of Ft, Myers, FL.

She was predeceased by her brother Edward "Frenchy" Gagnon on February 23, 2016.

Memorial calling hours for Lorraine and "Frenchy" will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Mass of Christian burial will be held on March 19, 2016 at 11:30 am at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Inurnment for both will be on Lorraine's birthday; May 28, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Northumberland Cemetery.
