LORRAINE P. SOULE, 92 , formerly of North Stratford and most recently Lancaster, died peacefully October 28, 2016 at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster were she had been a resident for the past two years, surrounded by many of her children and grandchildren.

She was born on February 20, 1924 in Alburg, Vermont to Stanley and Almira (Valley) Paquette. She was a graduate of Alburg High School in 1943. She has been a resident of North Stratford since 1977 coming from Milford, CT

Lorraine was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in North Stratford.  She enjoyed playing YAHTZEE and BINGO but the thing she loved most was spending time with her family.

Lorraine is survived by ten children Linda Sparapani of Jupiter, FL; Jeanne & Richard Havrda of Stratford, NH; Deborah & Mark Frank of Lancaster; Cheryl & Ernie Black of Rochester, NH; Karen Langley of Campton, NH; Judy & Paul McGinnis of Oxford, CT; Anita & Ron Pelchat of Lancaster; Gale & Sue Soule of Trumbull, CT; William & Linda Soule of Milford, CT; Robert Soule Jr. and Sandra of Fitzwilliam, NH; one daughter-in-law Marge Soule of West Haven, CT;  36 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; four siblings Philip Paquette; Gertrude Paquette; and Donalda Paquette all of Milford, CT and Anita Robinson of Titusville, NJ and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Robert Soule, Sr. on Sept. 19, 1991; son Gary Soule on October 26, 2009; four sisters Margaret Paquette; Pauline Paquette; Shirley Paquette and Marion Lauzon; two brothers George Paquette and Paul Paquette.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 5-8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Mass will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Church in North Stratford with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Amadeus Cemetery in Alburg, VT with Fr. Tom Nadeau of the St. Amadeus Church.
