LOUISE (DOWLAND) SIMINO, 73, of Country Village Road in Lancaster, formerly of Knowlton Rd, Stark died peacefully on April 27, 2015 at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Holland, VT on July 10, 1941 a daughter of the late Bernard and Gertrude (Sanborn) Dowland. Louise lived most of her life in Stark and has been a resident of Lancaster for the past ten years. Before retiring she worked as a cashier at Stop & Shop and Aimes Department Store in Northumberland. Louise enjoyed word searches; sewing; knitting; crocheting; cooking and singing, she even sang in the Choir at Holton Point and Country Village-Genesis Elder Care; she loved owls. Louise is survived by her children Roland "Lucky" and Ruby Simino of Middleton, NH; Robin and Jill Simino of Dixon, Missouri; Koren and Andy Labrecque of Stark; Sheila Simino and Kevin Kleinpiter of Plymouth, NH; and Brenda Simino of Dixon, Missouri; twelve grandchildren Ryan Lebrecque; Andrea Lebrecque Webster; Jessica Simino Reindeau; Shawn McLain; Courtney McLain; Kris Simino; Katie Simino; Lucus Simino; Libby Simino; Taylor Simino; Mike Simino and Samantha Simino; seventeen great-grandchildren; one sister Victoria Tear; four brothers Winston Dowland; Edward Dowland; George Dowland; and Phillip Dowland; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 48 years, Rollin Simino on October 5, 2005; one son Michael Simino on August 20, 1995; and one brother Bernard Dowland. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Funeral service will be on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Danielle Rodrigues of the Groveton United Methodist officiating.
