LUCIENNE "LOU" LEONIDE (TREMBLAY) CARON, 95, of Groveton, died peacefully at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Lou was born on June 28, 1929, in Berlin, NH, to the late Louis Joseph and Leonide
(Fortin) Tremblay. She has been a resident of Groveton since moving here in 1950, coming from Berlin.
Lou enjoyed planting marigolds, cooking for family and friends, keeping her house spotless, and spending time with family and friends.

Lou is survived by five children George Caron and wife Georgia, Roger Caron and wife Ruth all of Stark, Dan Caron and wife Elaine of Stark and Florida, Diane Caron Daley of Stark, and Ron Caron of Groveton, one daughter-in-law Holly Caron of Groveton, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, sister Florence Lebrecque of Errol, numerous nieces, and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Ernest Romeo Caron, on March 28, 2009, her parents, two step-mothers, Laura Martineau Tremblay and Blanche Simond Tremblay, three children, Ernest Jr., Paul, and Jeanine, one daughter-in-law, Linda Caron, and one brother, Luciene Tremblay.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Church, with Fr. Daniel Deveau officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery in Groveton.
