LYNN M. (PARADISE) BREWER, 68, of Route 3, Stratford, NH died unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
Lynn was born on October 11, 1955, in Bristol, Connecticut a daughter of the late O'Neil V. and Loraine (LeDuc) Paradise. She was a graduate of St. Paul's Catholic High School, class of 1973. Lynn then went on to attend UCONN and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy in 1979. She was a member of the UCONN Pi Beta Phi sorority and served as president her junior year. She also attended Hart School of Music at the University of Hartford where she received a certificate in piano study.
Lynn was a dedicated Pharmacist working throughout her career in hospital and commercial pharmacies in both CT and NH until her retirement from Walgreens in Colebrook, NH in 2020. During her career, Lynn spent time mentoring pharmacy students during their clinical rotations at John Dempsey Hospital of the University of Connecticut Medical Center and taught Pharmacy Technician courses at Tunxis Community College in Farmington, CT. After her retirement, she continued working per diem for North Country Healthcare in the pharmaceutical departments for their North Country facilities. Lynn was a current Board member for North Country Healthcare and the Chair for the Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital (UCVH) Board of Directors.
Before moving to New Hampshire full-time in 2009, Lynn was very active at the St. Joseph's School and Parish in Bristol, CT. She was well known for hosting senior lunches, running the cash office for BINGO, and leading her daughter's Girl Scout Troop.
Lynn loved her Hallmark movies, high-stakes BINGO at Foxwoods, trying new recipes, cooking family meals, playing the piano, and traveling. Above all, Lynn loved spending quality time with her family. Nothing made her happier than the moments that she had all of her family together.
Lynn is survived by her husband of 36 years David K. Brewer of Stratford, NH; three children Christina Brewer of Smithfield, RI; Sarah Brewer of Hillsboro, NH; and Keith Brewer of Stratford, NH; her twin grandsons Braydon and Greyson Brewer-Choice; two sisters Susan Zagyan and husband Robert of Cypress, TX and Christine Lavery of Peterborough, NH; and several nieces and nephews that she loved as if they were her own.
The family will be holding services in NH and CT. Services in New Hampshire will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023, with memorial calling hours from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; 100 State St.; Groveton, NH. Funeral prayer service will follow immediately at 6:00 pm at the funeral home with Fr. Daniel Deveau, of the St. Francis Xavier Church, officiating. Services in Connecticut will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at St. Joseph Church; 33 Queen St.; Bristol, CT. Memorial calling hours will start at 9:00 am, with funeral mass starting at 10:00 am. Inurnment will immediately follow in the St. Joseph's Cemetery; 522 Terryville Ave.; Bristol, CT.

The Lynn P. Brewer, RPh. Memorial Scholarship has been established in honor of Lynn's career dedicated to providing quality healthcare. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior in Coos County, NH pursuing a degree in healthcare.
