MAE LEONA (CONLEY) WALKER, 77, Lancaster Road, died peacefully at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care in Lancaster on August 18, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born in Sheffield, Vermont on December 31, 1936 a son of Cyril and Lena (Bennett) Conley, she was a resident of the Stratford, Groveton; Berlin areas most of her life. She has been a resident of Northumberland since November of 2013. Mae enjoyed word search puzzles; playing card and board games and watching country music videos. She is survived by her husband of 45 years Thomas Walker, Sr. of Northumberland; children Thomas Walker, Jr. and significant other Wanda Hamilton of Stratford Hollow; Tammy Moholland and husband Ray of Berlin; Tracey Couture and significant other Ben Beland of Berlin; Paulette Walker of Stratford; David Walker and wife Angel of Dover-Foxcroft, ME; and Melissa Barclay and husband Kevin of Northumberland; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three siblings Norman Conley; Jessie Conley both of Vermont and Edna Clarke. She was predeceased by her parents; one sister Bertha Allen and two grandsons Patrick Sweeney and David Walker, Jr. There will be no services at this time. A celebration of Mae's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
