Marcus James "Mookie" Gifford, 50, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 27, 2020, at his home in Northumberland, NH.
Marcus was born on January 12, 1970, in Glens Falls, New York. His family later moved to Worcester, MA where he grew up. For the past five years, he has lived in Lancaster, NH, and has been a resident of Northumberland for the past six months.
Marcus enjoyed MMA; he was a movie buff; art was a big part of his life and enjoyed sharing his art skills with his children, he found peace being in the north country.
Marcus was a loving father to his six children Rebecca Rose Gifford with his former wife Rose Gifford, and Misha Gifford, Theresa Gifford, Jessica Gifford, Mookie Gifford, and Layla Gifford. His children were his proudest accomplishment in life. He is also survived by his mother Patricia Gifford and his two siblings Becky Gifford and Clifton Gifford.
Burial of cremains was held June of 2023 in the Life Forrest Cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
