MARGARET LEONA (HAGAN) DONOVAN, 81, of Gilmanton, NH and formerly of Stark, passed away at the Concord Hospice Center in Concord after a lengthy illness with her loving family by her side. Margaret was born in Concord, Vermont on April 25, 1934 a daughter of Bernard and Eva (LaBlanc) Hagan. She lived most of her life in the Stark area until moving to Gilmanton ten years ago. Margaret was a member of the St. Francis Church in Groveton. She loved her flowers, especially African Violets; she enjoyed her gardens, both vegetable and flower, she enjoyed cooking, canning and bird watching. Margaret is survived by her two children Robert Donovan and wife Barbara of Columbia; and Deborah Parks and husband Greg of Gilmanton; six grandchildren Kristia Guidry and husband Julian; Travis Parks and wife Kristen; Brian Donovan and wife Jessica; Nick Savage; Rusty Savage and Maranda Ransdell and husband Jeff; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Cassidy of Hinesburg, VT; two sister-in-laws Merlene Hagan of Littleton and Lorraine Donovan of Lancaster; one brother-in-law James Donovan of Lancaster; one aunt and one uncle. She is also survived by her precious cat, Miss Milley. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Joseph Donovan on March 5, 2003; one son Brian Paul Donovan; two sisters Arlene Payette and Irene Oliver and three brothers James Hagan; John Hagan and Mike Hagan. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, NH. Mass will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at the St. Fransic Xavier Church in Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Buril will be on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 1:00 pm in the St. Francis Cemetery in Groveton.
