MARIE KREVETSKI , 93, of Northumberland died peacefully on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster.

Marie was born on April 16, 1924 in Rahway, NJ the daughter of Frank and Mary (Delucca) Delasandro. She has been a resident of Northumberland for thirty plus years coming from Carteret, NJ.  She used to help cook and serve the Senior Meals in Groveton and was a member of the St. Marguerite d'Youville Parish.

Marie is survived by her son Robert Akesson of Groveton; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister Theresa Chaloka of Clark, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Robert Krevetski; one son Francis Akesson; two sisters Frances Ballard and Eva McNaul; and two brothers Carmen Delasandro and Joseph Delasandro.

There will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 am at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton. Inurnment will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery in Groveton. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
