STRATFORD MARIE FLORA STINSON, 69 died Sunday May 15, 2005 at her daughter's home, with her family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Porter, Maine, January 27, 1936 a daughter of the late Clayton Eastman, Sr. and Mary (Whitten) Eastman. She has been a resident of the Stratford area since 1954, coming from Porter, ME. Marie loved to knit, crochet, garden and yard saleing. She also loved spending time with her family and having family gatherings. She is survived by her mother Mary Eastman of Porter, Maine; five children Harold Jr. and wife Christiane Stinson of Brunswick, VT; Roger and wife Patty Stinson of North Stratford; Joyce Champagne and boyfriend Jimmy Jeffers of Colebrook; Lois Post and boyfriend Mike Bennett of Bloomfield, VT; and Harvey and wife Shannon Stinson of Whitefield. 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren along with a special friend Harold Black of North Stratford; her brothers Alfred Eastman of Porter, ME; Reggie Eastman of Greenville, ME; Clayton Eastman Jr. of Brownfield, ME and Herbie Eastman of Porter, ME and her sisters Rebecca Gammon of Limington, ME; Molissa Stinson of Stratford, NH; Bertha Guptil of Baldwin, ME; Judy Verril of Porter, ME; Reburta Murch of Limerick, ME; Cecile Harrington of Cornish, ME; Vera Monroe of Porter, ME and Norma Chapman of Parsonsfield, ME all also survive her, along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Harold B. Stinson, Sr., December 7, 1988 and one brother Willis Eastman. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; 100 State Street; Groveton. Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Rev.
