Obituary

MARJORIE "MARGE" ANN (DRISCOLL) McCORMACK, 83, formally of Rich St. in Groveton, died peacefully on August 1, 2013 at the Coos County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown NH. She was born in Littleton, NH on September 17, 1929, the daughter of the late: Frank William Driscoll and Sarah (Donovan) Driscoll. "Marge" was a graduate of the Lancaster Academy, the class of 1948. She married her husband; John Arthur McCormack on April 18, 1949, and after they moved to Groveton in 1950, she became a homemaker and loving mother of six children. "Marge" was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church and also so a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed knitting; traveling; camping and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Arthur McCormack of Coos County Nursing Hospital of West Stewartstown, NH/formerly of Groveton; one son and daughter-in-law; Kevin and Vicki McCormack, of Sequim, WA; five daughters: Karen and Dennis Maguire of Stratford, NH, Ann McCormack and Kim Getty of Ashland, NH, Judi and Ivan Shannon of Groveton, NH, Beth Styles of Lancaster, NH, Christine and Robert Perras of Groveton, NH; 13 grandchildren, Tina, Lisa, Jason, Chris, Kate, Luke, Matt, Erik, Sarah, Patricia, Bobby, Nicholas, Joshua; 16 Great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; one infant son; one great-grand daughter, Jewelya Brown-Perras; two brothers, William Driscoll and Robert Driscoll and one sister Dorothy "Dottie" Driscoll. Calling hours will be Tuesday August 6th from 6-9 PM at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; 100 State St. Groveton. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday August 7th at 11 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church in Groveton with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Burial will be in the St. Francis Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Marge's name to the Alzheimer's Association; P.O.
