Mary LeClaire, 82, of Scotia passed away peacefully on April 25, 2022 at Glendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Scotia, New York. Born in Skowhegan, Maine on October 2, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Emily Chamberlain. She was employed with The Charlton School in Burnt Hills and retired with 31 years of service. After her retirement, she spent a number of years working as a Bus Monitor for the Burnt Hills - Ballston Lake CSD. Mary enjoyed time with family - especially her grandchildren, paddle-boarding on Peck's Lake, gardening, the outdoors, puzzles, and her beloved Boston Red Sox.
She is survived by her long-time companion, Chuck Dziegiel; her children, Daniel (Maria) LeClaire of Burnt Hills, NY, Jeffrey (Jodi) LeClaire of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Theresa Horan of Ballston Lake, NY; long-time co-worker and close family friend, Robert Thorpe; four grandchildren, Samantha LeClaire, Amanda Horan, Jake LeClaire, and Bradley Horan; her sisters, Patsy Dugas (Wright) of Winchester, VA and Ruth (Paul) Doiron (Wright) of Wildwood, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on June 13, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home, Groveton, New Hampshire, followed by burial at Northumberland Cemetery, Groveton, New Hampshire.
The family would like to express their most sincere thanks to the entire staff at Glendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the love and support they provided.
