MARY LOUISE (KENNEY) RICH, 68, of Lancaster road, Groveton died Saturday August 19, 2006 at Week's Medical Center after a sudden illness. Born December 3, 1937 in North Stratford, NH the daughter of Harold and Edna (Monahan) Kenney she was a lifelong resident of the Groveton and Stratford area. Mary was a graduate of North Stratford High School class of 1955. She then moved to Groveton, she married John Rich, Sr. on February 10, 1961, worked in the office at Groveton Papers for seven years and then became a homemaker. She loved bird-watching and feeding the birds; gardening, raising and selling pumpkins. Mary is survived by her husband of 45 years John Rich, Sr.; son John Rich, Jr.; Daughter Kathy and husband Andre Dubois and one grandson Nicolas Dubois all of Groveton, along with one brother Harold Kenney, Jr. of Lunenburg, VT and many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family in Northumberland Cemetery. Services are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; Groveton.
