NATHAN SCOTT COTTER, 39, of Lancaster Road, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Born in Lancaster, NH a son of Norman and Bonnie (Malanson) Cotter, he was a lifelong resident of Northumberland. He was a Graduate of Groveton High School, class of 1993. Nathan was a small engine mechanic and was currently employed as a plumber's assistant with Nels P Nelson Plumbing and Heating. Nathan enjoyed monster trucks; mud runs; four-wheeling; races; tractor pulling; and working on anything with an engine. He loved to figure out how things worked. He loved to spend time with his children and was a big help to Dad whenever he needed help with anything. Nathan is survived by his parents, Norman and Bonnie Cotter of Northumberland; his three children Megan Cotter and Spencer Cotter both of Lancaster and Vivian Cotter of Connecticut; one brother Richard Cotter and wife Sara of Groveton; one sister Amy Merrow and husband Christopher of Manchester; three nephews Brandon White of Groveton; Noah Merrow and Brady Merrow both of Manchester; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents Francis and Simonne Cotter and Arthur and Pearl Malanson and one uncle. Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 5-8 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Fr. Daniel Deveau of St. Francis Xavier Church, pastor officiating.
