PATRICIA P. (HOPPS) LOCKE , 88,  of Marietta Lane, Groveton died peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Country-Village Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster after a lengthy illness.

Patricia was born on November 2, 1927 in Groveton, NH a daughter of Ralph and Edith (Hartshorn) Hopps. She was a lifelong resident of Groveton. She worked at James River and Wausau Papers until retirement in 1992.

Patricia was a member of the Groveton United Methodist Church; the American Legion Auxiliary Post #17, Groveton and she loved to go fishing.

She is survived by her daughter Tina Hunt and husband Phil and her son Dana Locke and wife Deborah all of Groveton; two grandchildren Alicia Brooks and husband Gary and Dustin Locke and two great-grandchildren.

Patricia was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1999; her parents; two brothers and five sisters.

At Patricia's request a graveside service will be held on May 14, 2016 at 1:00 pm in the Northumberland Cemetery.
