PAUL ARTHUR BOISSELLE, died Tuesday, December 6, 2011 peacefully in his bed with his loving companion of 16 years by his side, after a long and courageous battle with cancer just four days before his 62nd birthday. Born December 10, 1949 in Berlin, NH a son of Norman Henry and Gloria Fernand (Cote) Boisselle, he was a graduate of Berlin High School class of 1968. Paul was a veteran of the Army National Guard from August 1968 to April 1974. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #17. Paul worked as a machinist and Foreman of the machine shop for 40 years until the closing of Wausau Papers in Groveton. Paul was a resident of Groveton since 1970, coming from Berlin. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing (including ice fishing), and snow machining. If you are at the lake and hear "Fish on!" you know that Paul is there. He was predeceased by his father Norman Boisselle on May 9, 1996. Paul is survived by his Mother Gloria Boisselle of Holton Point, Lancaster, formerly of Berlin, NH; his loving companion of 16 years Cheryl Bougie of Groveton; son Eric Boisselle and wife Julie of Groveton; daughter Andrea Hamel and Richie Scacheri of Tilton, NH; four grandchildren Carissa Boisselle, Skyler Boisselle, Brianna Boisselle and Jewel Hamel, sister Jackie Vaillancourt and husband Mark of Berlin; brother Raymond Boisselle and Dee Dimick of Virginia; two nieces, three great-nieces and one great-nephew. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, with Fr. Daniel Deveau of St. Francis Xavier Church officiating. Inurnment will be in the spring with Military Honors in the St. Anne's Cemetery in Berlin, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Paul's name to the Oncology Dept.
