PAUL PARKER FORTIN , 51, of Second Street in Groveton, died on Saturday, March 5, 2016 due to injuries received in a snowmobile accident.

Paul was born on January 24, 1965 in Brunswick, Maine a son of Joseph Fortin, Jr. and Geraldine (Gerow) Fortin and has been a resident of Groveton most of his life.

Paul worked in the logging industry running a skidder and was a very hard worker.  He enjoyed watching racing, playing cards, fishing and snowmobiling.

He is survived by his four children Angela Fortin of Michigan; Geralin Fortin of Orleans, VT; Gerin Fortin of Irasburg, VT; and Jaemind Fortin of Groveton; seven siblings Helen Lynch of Idaho; Joe Fortin of Stratford; Theresa Fortin and Tony Fortin both of Groveton; Howard Hart of Pennsylvania; Rick Hart of Brunswick, VT; and Bonnie Bouchard of Maine; numerous nieces and nephews.

Paul was predeceased by his father Joseph Fortin, Jr; mother Geraldine (Gerow) Hart; step-father Ernie Hart; one sister Jean Hart.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of Paul's life will be held at the convenience of the family.
