PAUL EDWARD WILSON, 61, of West Street, died unexpectedly on May 31, 2012. He was born February 18, 1951 in Lancaster, NH to Edward and Dorcus (Nute) Wilson. He attended Groveton Schools where he was a valued member of the soccer and baseball teams. Upon graduating in 1969, he enrolled in NH College and then enlisted in the US Navy. Returning to Concord in 1973, he was employed by Rumford Press. Moving back to the North Country in 1976 he held various positions at McMann Lumber and James River, becoming disabled in 1998. Paul was a loyal Red Sox fan and enjoyed fishing, his flower garden and cats. People were drawn to his unwavering optimistic outlook on life. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 17 and a three term trustee of the Groveton Public Library. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Susan (Douglas) Wilson of Groveton, four children Tim and Sherry Pandora of San Francisco, CA; Tara and Shane Bickford of East Wenatchee, WA; Torrie Pandora of Wilder, VT Tiffany and Chris Cavanaugh of Weare, NH and one granddaughter Elise Bickford of East Wenatchee, WA. He is also survived by two brothers, a sister, three uncles, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 1-3 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Cindy Grassi officiating.
