REGINALD "REGIE" ALBERT MAILHOT, "Reginald Van Gleason The 3rd", 74, of Bog Rd, N. Stratford, died peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming where he had been a resident for the past couple of years.
Regie was born on May 26, 1945, in Dixville, Canada, son of Leo and Louisa (Viens) Mailhot. He was a US Army Veteran during the Vietnam era and retired from the National Guard at 60. He was a self-employed contractor and was well known for his work around northern NH.
Regie was a member of the American Legion; Knights of Columbus and the National Guard.
Regie is survived by his; sons Jeffrey Mailhot of Whitefield, NH; Mark Mailhot of Decatur, Texas; daughter Kimberly Hoyt of Burns, WY; grandchildren Trevor, Riley, Devon, Kaleb, Cody, Liahona, Ammon, Eve, Gideon, and Israel; brothers Guy Mailhot; Armand Mailhot, Geno Mailhot, Emile Mailhot, sisters Adrian Hoy, Adela Dube, and Rita Noyes
He was predeceased by his parents; and three brothers Romeo Mailhot; Peawee Mailhot; and Ronnie Mailhot.
As soon as the COVID-19 travel ban is lifted; Services will be held at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, NH. Burial will be in the NH Veteran's Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. Please watch for updates.
