RICHARD CHARLES KIMBALL, 82, of Maple St., Groveton, died peacefully on Monday, April 22, 2019, at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin after a brief illness.
Richard was born on January 11, 1937, in Whitefield, NH a son of Vincent Charles and Priscilla L. Kimball. He was a lifelong resident of the Groveton area. Before retiring he worked as a Pandia Operator for the Groveton Paper Board Co.
Richard was a veteran of the US Navy; a member of the Gilkey Lodge #101 F & AM of Groveton; and the EarlyBird VFW in Groveton. He was a devout Methodist. Richard loved his grandchildren and his ice cream, eating one-half gallon per day, even though he wasn't supposed to.
He is survived by his two children Richard P. Kimball and wife Mary of Fayetteville, NC; and Nancy L. Seguin of Berlin, NH; five grandchildren Richard P. Kimball, Jr.; Kyle Kimball; Ryan Kimball; Joshua Seguin; and Jacob Seguin; and one great-granddaughter Julianna Kimball.
He was predeceased by his wife and love of his life Joyce Mary Ann Kimball on December 27, 2001.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, June 17, 2019, in the Northumberland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
