RICHARD H. "DICK""HANK" ROBINSON, SR., 67, of Old Mill Road, North Stratford, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Born October 31, 1941 in Lancaster, NH a son of the late Ira H. and Evelyn (Brigham) Robinson, he was raised in Groveton and moved to North Stratford when he married Charlotte Goodrum at the age of 19 and has been a residence there since. Richard worked for Groveton Papers; James River and Wausau Papers for over 30 years until his retirement in 1999. Following retirement he worked as a mechanic in his garage at home. He was a member of the North Country ATV Club. He enjoyed four-wheeling; spending time at camp; tinkering on vehicles; being outdoors and helping family and friends. "Hank" is survived by his wife of 48 years Charlotte (Goodrum) Robinson of North Stratford; five children Cheryl Robinson and her significant other John Hall of Lyndonville, VT; Richard "Rick" Robinson, Jr.; Lori Martin and her husband Michael all of North Stratford; Michael Robinson of Columbia and Corey Robinson and his significant other Amy Crawford of North Stratford; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one brother Maurice Robinson and one sister Shirley Manchester both of Groveton and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by in addition to his parents; one daughter Lorna Robinson and one sister Judy Farrow. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 3-6 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Services will be held on Monday May 18, 2009 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church; Main Street; North Stratford, with Pastor Cindy Grassi officiating. Burial will follow in the Northumberland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to the First Baptist Church; PO Box 27, North Stratford, NH 03590.
