BRUNSWICK, VT ROBERT "BOBBY" MARTIN age 65 of Brunswick, VT died on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Country Village-Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster from complications of Parkinson's Disease. Bobby was born in Englewood, New Jersey on April 17, 1940 a son of Dudley and Kathreen (Kiehl) Martin. Bobby went to school in Leonia, N.J. and after graduating from high school in 1958 he joined the U.S. Army and served on missile bases in New Mexico and Connecticut. He served during the Vietnam War. After the Army he went to North Caroline to learn how to operate heavy equipment. A job he enjoyed a lot. Later he drove tractor trailer trucks for twenty years. Bobby married his wife Beverley on March 25, 1985 and after living in the Beacon, New York area moved to their home in Brunswick, Vermont with their cat Minnie in 1995 after retiring. Bobby was a good and dependable worker and took great pride in his "work ethic". He liked being outside and loved to work around their home. He especially enjoyed all the wild animals in the area. Bobby will be missed so very much by his wife Beverly and his cats Calico, Katie and especially Ebony who he saved from winter, along with his extended family. There will be no funeral service and Bobby will be cremated. His ashes will be spread in the spring when the daffodils blossom.
