ROBERT "PETE" WILFRED CASS, 79, of Willson Road, North Concord, VT, died Thursday, January 5, 2012 at his residence after a sudden illness. Born April 2, 1932 in Groveton, NH a son of James Henry and Sarah Anne (Emery) Cass he lived most of his life in Groveton and moved to North Concord, VT twelve years ago. Pete attended Groveton schools, worked for Groveton Papers, as a handyman for Jay Gould, and for the railroad. He enjoyed working on radios, cb's and telephones. Pete is survived by one sister Flora Auger of Groveton; three special nieces Debbie Adair; Sarah Bloom and Marlene Champagne and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and seven siblings James Cass; Thomas Cass; Elmer Cass; Avery Cass; Ruth Platt; Elizabeth Arsenault and Mary Stinson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton from 1pm - 3pm. Funeral services will be held at 3pm on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Aaron Cox of the Groveton United Methodist Church officiating.
