RODNEY "ROD" BERT LACLAIR, 99, of Country Village Rd., Lancaster, died peacefully on Friday, May 25, 2018, at Country Village Genesis Elder Care in Lancaster where he had been a resident since 2013.

Rodney was born on October 9, 1918, in Claremont, NH a son of Bert and Jane (Tucker) LaClair. He moved to Groveton in 1992 coming from Sanbornville, NH.  Before retiring he worked for many years as a papermaker for the Monadnock Paper Co in Bennington, NH. He was an excellent carpenter.

Rodney is survived by his daughter Shelia Repko & Larry Covell of Stratford, NH and son Dennis LaClair of Fitzwilliam, NH; 6 six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by one grandchild and two brothers and one sister.

There will be no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, at 11:00 am in the Lovell Lake Cemetery in Sanbornville, NH.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
