RONALD "RONNIE" JAMES TRUCOTT, 73, of Groveton, died peacefully on November 23, 2024, at Country-Village Genesis Elder Care Center in Lancaster after a brief illness.

Ronnie was born on March 14, 1951, in Barton, VT a son of the late Leo Henry and Vivian Rita (Reynolds) Trucott. Ronnie grew up in the St. Johnsbury, VT area. After graduating from Lake Region Union High School, Ronnie enlisted in the US Army from January 1971 to January 1973.

Ronnie was a line cook for many years and retired from North Country Family Restaurant in Groveton.

He loved watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He also collected wolf and Indian memorabilia and trinkets.

Ronnie is survived by five siblings Robert Trucott, Richard Trucott, Barbara Virago, Paulette LaBounty, and Jeanne Hoadley all of Vermont, two sons Ronald Trucott, Jr. of Colorado and Stacey Trucott of Illinois, a special niece Brenda Pinnette her husband Phil and their daughter Alicia all of Groveton, and several more nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2025, in the West Look Cemetery in Glover, VT.
