ROSE MARIE (DUPONT) MARIER, 61, of Route 3 North Stratford, died peacefully on August 10, 2013 at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born in Laconia, NH on March 4, 1952 the daughter of the late: Roland and Claire Dupont. Rose has been a resident of the Groveton/North Stratford area most of her life. Before retiring she was a caregiver. She enjoyed gardening and watching the Sci-Fi Channel. She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Real Marier of North Stratford; her daughter and son-in-law Claire and Chad Gerald of Amherst, NH; two stepchildren and their spouses Ken and Melissa Marier of Littleton and Trisha and Richie Lawton of Colebrook; one step- grandson Kooper Marier; two brothers Phillip Dupont and Paul Dupont both of Laconia, NH. She was predeceased by her parents; one sister and two brothers. At Rose's request there will be no calling hours. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Rose's name to the American Legion Post #17; PO Box 207; Groveton, NH 03582.
