Obituary

ROSEMARY DONOVAN, 94, formerly of Groveton died peacefully Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Coos County Nursing Hospital in Stewartstown were she has been a resident since October of 2000. Born July 6, 1911 in Norton Mills, Vermont a daughter of Philias and Marie (Morency) Brousseau, she lived in Groveton for 56 years, before moving to Stewartstown. Before retiring Rosemary worked as a stitcher for Converse Shoes. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church. She enjoyed her flowers and playing Bingo. Rosemary is survived by one son James "Jim" Donovan of Lancaster; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; two sisters Claudia Noel of Stewartstown and Marion Cortwright of Ontario, Canada and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Oliver Donovan and one son Robert Donovan. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Armstrong-Charron funeral Home; 100 State Street; Groveton, with the rosary being recited at 7:15 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 27th at 12:30 pm at the St. Francis Xavier Church; 11 State Street; Groveton, with Fr. Daniel Deveau, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery; Brown road; Groveton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rosemary's name to either the Groveton Ambulance Corp.; C/O Sandy Mason; 7 Arlington Ave; Groveton; 03582 or to the American Cancer Society;; Gail Singer Memorial Building; 360 State Route 101, Suite 501; Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
