ROYDEN "JUNIOR" HART, JR., 68, of West St., Groveton, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, after a brief battle with cancer, with his loving family by his side.
Junior was born on August 22, 1952, in Groveton, NH a son of Royden A. and Ida (Cote) Hart and has been a lifelong resident.
Before retiring, he was Head-Custodian for the Groveton school system. He was a member of the St. Marguerite de'Youville Parish and was a 3rd degree in the Knights of Columbus. He loved gatherings with family and friends; scratch tickets; swimming; fishing; and hunting. He was known for operating "Jr-Mart" from his home.
Junior is survived by his wife Kathy (Gauvin) Hart of Groveton; his two daughters Lynn Cutting and husband Justin of Hampton; Kristie Goulet and husband Todd of Morris, CT; one son Scotty Hart and wife Jenah of Warner Robins, GA; eleven grandchildren Parker; Paige; Noah and wife Allison; Hannah; Leah; Jonah; Damon; Kaleb; Kaylee; Aly and Brantley; three sisters Lorinda Bean and husband Ronnie of MS; Sharon Findsen and husband Richard of Stark; and Darlene McLain and husband Kenneth of Milan; four brothers Daryl Gagnon; Richard Hart and wife Doreen; Robert Hart and wife Madeline and John Hart all of Groveton; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents and one sister Emolleen "Emy" Hart.
At Junior's request, there will be no calling hours. Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020, at 1:00 pm in the Riverside Cemetery in West Milan, with his son-in-law Todd Goulet officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
