RUTH ELIZABETH CHARLETTE, 89, of Maple Street, died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 peacefully at her residence after a lengthy illness. Born on October 20, 1922 in Coaticook, Canada a daughter of James and Gladys (Ellis) Bell, she was a lifelong resident of Groveton. Ruth enjoyed knitting, reading and watching TV. Her favorite thing to do was to spoil her grandchildren and spend time with her family. She is survived by her three children; Roy Charlette and wife Susan of Groveton; Donald Charlette and wife Brenda of Lunenburg, VT and Donna Hale of Lisbon, NH; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Roger in 1964 a daughter Shirley Simino; a grandson Zealynn Burt; and her brothers and sisters. Private family viewing and funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Northumberland Cemetery.
