STEPHEN K. CASS, 55, of Marietta Lane, Northumberland, died Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Week's Medical Center, Lancaster, after a sudden illness. Born August 29, 1951 in Lancaster, NH the son of Thomas J. and Christine L. (Sheltry) Cass, he was a lifelong resident of Groveton. Over the years Stephen had several jobs including being a wood buyer for C.B. Cummings and a police officer for the town of Northumberland. He was also active in town politics in the past. Stephen enjoyed hunting and tinkering with electrical items, radios, t.v.'s, ect. He is survived by his mother Christine Cass of Lancaster; his wife of 18 years Nancy (Sanders) Cass of Northumberland; his daughter Erica Cass of New York; four step-daughters Donna Weckesser and boyfriend Andrew Kennett of Conway; Annette Samson and boyfriend Ray Dubruiel; Michel Severino all of Lancaster; Deborah McCarthy and boyfriend Rob Baker of Littleton; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was also survived by two sisters Marilynn Hand of Groveton and Carol Ballard of Lancaster; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Thomas Cass. There will be no services at this time. Burial was in June of 2023 on the Lufe Forrest Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
