STEPHEN ANDREW GRAY, LCMHC, CCTP

Stephen Andrew Gray, Resident of Groveton, NH. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family the night of September 5th, 2024. He was the oldest son of Andrew and Gloria Gray. The family he created included; Elizabeth, his high school sweetheart, whom he chose as his loving wife of over 54 years; his two sons, Stephen Jr. and Ian; his daughter, Catherine, and his six grandchildren; Stephen III, Lydia, Emma, Stephen M.M., Michael and Isabella.

He is also survived by his mother, Gloria, his two younger brothers, Andrew and James, and two younger sisters, Diane and Kandy.

Throughout his lifetime he proved himself committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ and was a true witness. While raising a special needs daughter he always placed the needs of others ahead of self. He was a loving, generous, soul, who freely gave up his time to guide and heal others. Stephen, throughout his life, proved himself a creator of fine, strong men; leading others to inspire and serve their fellow man, and also become firm witnesses of Jesus Christ

He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Granite State College, his Master's Degree from the University of South Florida. Utilizing these degrees, he became a Licensed, Clinical Mental Health Counselor to utilize fully, his "talents on loan from God," to counsel and heal those in need of healing.

His accomplishments include board certifications consisting of Clinical Trauma Professional-Special Education Advocate, Adult Needs and Strengths, (ANSA), Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Stephen's memorial service will be open to the public and held in the Trinity United Methodist Church in Colebrook, NH. (26 Bridge Street, Colebrook, NH. 03576) on the 13th of September 2024, at 10:00 AM.
