SUSAN CAROL AUDIT, 64, of Stratford, died peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 25, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side.

Susan was born on June 26, 1960, in Lancaster, NH, to the late Everett Wilbur and Christine Eunasha (Silver) Rexford. She was a graduate of White Mountain Regional High School, class of 1978.

Susan was a resident of Lancaster until moving to Groveton in 2005, and then to Stratford two years ago.

Over the years, Susan worked at Lancaster Play and Learning Center for eight years, The Coos County Democrat in the printing department for ten years, PJ Noyes for fifteen years, and lastly at Claudette and Dean's Place as a waitress for four years.

Susan loved knitting, camping, visiting with people, spending time with family, and taking care of her animals. She didn't really care for four-wheeling, but she would go for rides just to spend time with her loving husband, Mario.

Susan is survived by her husband of 42 years, Mario J. Audit of Stratford, four children Chrystal Chase and fiancé Ryan Knapp of Portsmouth, NH, Stephanie Dupuis and husband Joel of Lancaster, Kayla Post and husband Nick of Penacook, Kyle Audit and wife Jamie of Littleton, eight grandchildren, her four brothers, Wayne Rexford and wife Tina, David Rexford and wife Linda, Gary Rexford and wife Terri, and Randy Rexford and wife Patti all of Lancaster, several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Lancaster.
