SYLVIO S. BILODEAU, 70, of US Route 3, North Stratford, died suddenly of a heart attack, Monday May 9, 2005, while at work at Nash Equipment in Colebrook. Born August 14, 1934 in Hearst, Ontario a son of Harve and Yvonne (Fillion) Bilodeau, he has been a resident of Stratford for the past 48 years. He was employed by Nash Equipment in Colebrook, working mainly on skidder motors and big equipment and trucks. He drove racecars for several years in his younger years at several different tracks, including Riverside Raceway back when it was a dirt track. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Sylvio is survived by his wife of 51 years Mary (Rainey) Bilodeau of North Stratford; three daughters Sally Wheeler of Jefferson; Brenda Herrin of Feyette, Maine and Tina Rexford of Lancaster; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; three sisters Hugette Ingerson and Shirley Crawford both of Littleton and Theresa Gelinas of Sarasota, Florida. He was predeceased by his son Michael on October 18, 1999 and two sisters Jeannine Breault and Lucille Gaudette. Calling hours will be held on Thursday May 12, 2005 from 6-9pm at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; 100 State Street; Groveton. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Stratford with Rev. Lawrence Clough officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
