THEODORE "TEDDO" WILFRED GLADUE, SR. 75, of Lennon Road in Carroll, NH died Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon after a sudden illness. Born in Norwich, CT on September 18, 1932 a son of Albert, Sr. and Anna (Ritchie) Gladue, he has been a resident of Carroll for the past 4 years coming from Connecticut. Ted was Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean War. He also served on the local fire department in Connecticut for many years. Before retiring he worked for twenty seven years as an auto body mechanic and for twelve years for the State of Connecticut in the maintenance department. Teddo used to build race cars and loved racing and refurbishing things. He was an avid NASCAR Fan. He was the type of person that once you met him you never forgot him. He was not shy and enjoyed telling jokes and was a very compassionate man. Ted is survived by his wife of 38 years; Christina (Shkutzko) Gladue of Carroll, NH; his six children Theodore W. Gladue, Jr. of Florida; Deborah Missino; John Gladue; Andrea Kovacs; Brandy-Lisa Gladue and Anastasia "Stacy" Mares all of CT; eleven grandchildren; seven siblings Edward Gladue; Ernest Gladue; PhilipGladue all of CT; Delia Caprilozzi of Florida; Anna Neal of New York; Rena Krodel and Edith Penrod both of CT along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased his parents; five siblings Albert Gladue, Jr.; Blanche Snorgrass; Irene Kostrubanick; Henry Gladue; Wilfred "Tarzan" Gladue, and one granddaughter Jaclyn-Renee Carter on May 24, 1997. Calling hours will be held at the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home; 100 State Street; Groveton on Monday February 18, 2008 from 6-8 pm. Calling hours will be held on Friday February 22 at the Guillot Funeral Home in Taftville, CT with Memorial Mass being held on Saturday February 23 at St. Joseph's Church in Occum, CT.
