VALERIE LYNN BARTLETT, 55, of Rich Street, died peacefully at her residence after a lengthy illness on Thursday, January 16, 2014. She was born on April 11, 1958 a daughter of Carroll Richard Allin and Marlene (Bean) Allin Breault in Lancaster, NH. She was a graduate of Groveton High School, class of 1976. Over the years she worked in the mill, as a waitress, a foster parent to many and a babysitter to many more. She loved being around children; sewing; knitting and sitting on the couch with her granddaughter Audrie. She is survived by her longtime companion Duane Gilcris of Groveton; her mother and step-father Marlene and Chet Breault of Groveton; daughter and son-in-law Danyelle and Andre Brasseur of Groveton; son Shane Bartlett and his partner Robert Fitzgerald of Plymouth, NH; two granddaughters Kelsea and Audrie Brasseur of Groveton; brother Carroll Nelson Allin and his partner Thomas Abelli of Manchester; sister Candie Treamer of Groveton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Carroll Richard Allin; two nephews Joshua Allin; Jason Treamer and one brother-in-law Walter Treamer. There will be no services at this time. A graveside service will be held on May 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Colebrook Village Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton, NH.
