VERA INEZ (KELLY) BARTLETT, 81, of Bog Road in Stratford, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 after a sudden illness.

Vera was born on August 8, 1936 in Dalton, NH a daughter of Norman Carl and Myrtle May (Placey) Kelly. She has been a resident of Stratford most of her life.

Vera was very active with the Stratford Old Home Days; church activities at both the Stratford Hollow and Groveton United Methodist churches. She enjoyed her art classes and even showed in the Oil Painting Division. Vera loved her flower gardens; decorating and spending time with her family and dogs.

Vera is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Cecil A. Bartlett of Stratford; four children Barbara Worster of Guildhall, VT; Norman Bartlett of North Stratford; Gregory Bartlett of Berlin ,; and Lorraine Bartlett of North Stratford; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings Floyd Kelly of Lunenburg, VT; Reggie Kelly of Monroe; and Hilda St. Laurent of Lisbon.

Vera was predeceased by one son Scott Bartlett Dec. 22, 2012; and five siblings, Buelah McVey; Viola McVey; Lawrence Kelly; Mary Kimball and George Kelly.

At Vera's request there will be no calling hours. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Center Cemetery in Stratford, NH (next to Scott's Bigrock Campground).  Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton.
