Obituary

VICTORIA 'VICKI' (GIFFORD) DeLALLA, 83, of Stratford, died peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster after a lengthy illness.

Vicki was born on November 19, 1942, in Prince Frederick, Maryland, to the late Victor Charles and Rose Ellen (Slane) Gifford. Vicki grew up in Calvert, MD. She lived in South Florida for several years, then moved to New Hampshire in 1993 and settled in Stratford in 1995.

While living in Florida, Vicki was very active with the Parents Without Partners program. Vicki enjoyed making porcelain dolls and doll houses; she was quite the crafter and kept busy weaving, quilting, knitting, and sewing.

Vicki was very active in the community, served as a past Selectman, was an election-day ballot clerk from 2004 to the present, was a past planning board member, and helped with Stratford's 225th Birthday party.

She started the Stratford Lions 4-H Club and was the project leader. She was a Grange member since 2000, a member of the Cohos Historical Society, and the North Country Council Board of Directors, where she was a past treasurer.

Vicki's favorite thing to do was giving people a hard time.

Vicki is survived by her children, Judy Trunzo and husband Nick of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Frank DeLalla II and wife Ruby of Knoxville, TN, Theresa Collins of Londonderry, VT, and Tony DeLalla of Knoxville, TN; eight grandchildren, Timmy, Tabitha, Ricky, Jake, Samantha, Angela, Nicole, and Giuseppe; six great grandchildren, Charlie, Levi, Piper, Vivian, Emerson, and Vivianne; her dear friend Dana Cassell of Stratford; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Vicki was predeceased by, in addition to her parents, four siblings, Winnie Prouty, Ellen Farrant, Stuart Gifford, and Alice Fitterer.

At Vicki's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Armstrong-Charron Funeral Home in Groveton. To send the family your condolences via the online guest book, please visit www.armstrongcharronfuneralhome.com
