VIRGINIA F. COUTURE, 77, of Lost Nation Rd, Groveton died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, after a period of failing health.

Virginia was born on May 8, 1943, in Harrisville, NY a daughter of Vernon Compo, Sr. and Margaret (Patchen) Compo, and has been a resident of Groveton for over 30 years.

Before retiring, Virginia worked for Home Health assisting clients with daily chores. She enjoyed knitting.

Virginia is survived by her husband Roland Couture of Groveton; her son Alfred "Fred" Pelchat; and daughter Mary Ann Ledger and husband Gregory all of Groveton; two granddaughters; her sister Loretta Fuller and two brothers Charley Compo and Vernon Compo, Jr. all of New York.
