Vivian Adeline (Bryant) Parks, 88, of Stark passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Breast Cancer, at the Country Village Center in Lancaster, NH on November 4, 2013. She was born on May 31, 1925 in Holland Vermont, the daughter of the late Herbert & Cora (Cole) Bryant. Vivian was a woman full of heart and all who met her through her journey could feel the love and strength she embodied. Vivian lived most of her life in Stark and was a very active member of the community. Vivian and her late husband of 44 years, Lawrence Parks, lived for many years at the Percy Summer Club in Percy where he worked. She retired from the Granite State Rubber Co in Berlin where she did stitching on Converse sneakers. Vivian was known for her beautiful sewing and hand knitting accomplishments. Many a baby wore the beautiful sweater and blanket sets that she had made. All of her family members have quilts that she made and will treasure always. She was predeceased by her best friend and sister-in-law, Mildred Gonyer, a brother and three sisters. She was a loving mother of three children; Brenda (Hartford) Boring and husband Dwight of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Carol (Dupuis) Sherwin and husband James of Manchester, NH and Neal Parks and wife Debra of Stark, NH. Vivian was most proud and much loved by her five grandchildren; Wade Hartford, Tadd Hartford, Amanda (Dupuis) Rowell, Abby (Dupuis) Weismantel, Anthony Tendler; 7 great-grandchildren, and a niece and her family. At Vivian's request there will be no public calling hours. A Memorial Celebration of her Life will be held in the spring.
